Andrew Pleasant, Ph.D. brings health literacy, plain language, and clear writing training to Centers for Disease Control

As part of the Centers for Disease Control’s Clear Writing Summit, Andrew Pleasant, Director of Canyon Ranch Institute and Global Health Literacy Research, presented a training session entitled, “Health literacy: From plain language to informed behavior change.” The summit was sponsored by the National Center for Environmental Health and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry; and organized by CommunicateHealth.
