Andrew Pleasant, Ph.D. recently spoke to international public health conferences in Shanghai, China and Taipei, Taiwan.
In Taiwan, Andrew presented at the World Health Organization’s Global Health Forum. His presentation was titled, “Health literacy: The path to improved health at lower cost.”
In Shanghai, China, Andrew presented on “Health communication and health literacy: Critical tools to meet the Sustainable Development Goals.”
These two presentations continued to spread the word around the world on the effectiveness, efficiency, equity, and ethics that embracing the evidence-based best practices of health literacy can bring to health and health care.
