Volunteer internships with Canyon Ranch Institute help educate, empower, and inspire the professionals of the future.

Collaborating with our team of experienced professionals will deepen your understanding of prevention, integrative health, health literacy, and the role of culture in health. You’ll gain professional experience while helping CRI to improve the health of people living in low-income communities.

Since 2009, CRI has hosted interns who earned academic credit and added to their professional experience in public health, medicine, business, nursing, public policy, communication, nutrition science, economics, culinary arts, and technology. If you’re studying any of these disciplines, and are available to work with us for eight to 40 hours per week for at least one semester, we would be delighted to hear from you. We’ve also hosted interns for full-time internships over just one month or for a summer program. We’re also open to discussing internships in other fields.

High school, undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate level internships are available.

Internship duties may include:

  • Research and evaluation
  • Program planning and implementation
  • Data entry
  • Writing and reviewing program and partnership materials
  • Website and social media support
