Jennifer Cosenza has worked in the communications field for more than 15 years. Her particular focus is on building health, technology, and scientific programming with public- and private-sector partners. As a senior advisor to Canyon Ranch Institute, a 501(c)3 non-profit public charity, Jennifer is committed to improving public health outcomes and reaching more communities through the successful growth and outreach of Canyon Ranch Institute’s partnerships. Canyon Ranch Institute catalyzes the possibility of optimal health for all people by translating the best practices of Canyon Ranch and our partners to help educate, inspire, and empower every person to prevent disease and choose a life of wellness.
As senior advisor for partnerships and public health communications, Jennifer draws on her many years of research and study of health policy and technology related to cancer, prevention, and health information technology. Jennifer is based in the Washington, D.C., office of Feinstein Kean Healthcare, where she supports East Coast operations for Canyon Ranch Institute.
Jennifer began her career at Georgetown University Medical Center, working closely with hospital administration, physicians, surgeons, medical staff, and patients to institute systems to ensure a positive patient experience. She takes this appreciation of both the patient and health care professional perspectives and channels it into her public health communications efforts on behalf of Canyon Ranch Institute and its partnerships.
Jennifer earned her Master’s degree in communication, culture & technology from Georgetown University. She is also a graduate of Georgetown University’s College of Arts and Sciences with a degree in government and concentration in international relations. While she enjoys living in our nation’s capital, where she participates in yoga classes and explores the many public parks, Jennifer takes every opportunity to travel, believing it’s one of the best forms of education anyone can experience.
