Kim Bourn has more than 20 years of experience in philanthropic and business development. As Community Relations Director for the Zuckerman Family Foundation, Kim directs the Foundation’s strategic focus on fostering opportunities to promote health and well-being using the integrative health model. Kim joined the Zuckerman Family Foundation in 2012, from The Critical Path Institute where she led the foundation’s fundraising and grant-making programs.
Before entering the field of philanthropy, Kim had a distinguished career in education, working with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the University of Arizona. Her work has been recognized with several awards in the areas of business, education, health, and philanthropy, including the University of Arizona Distinguished Citizen Award and the University of Arizona College of Education Alumni Award. In 2012, Kim was selected by Inside Tucson Business magazine as a woman of influence.
Kim currently serves on the boards of Tucson Medical Center and the University of Arizona’s Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. She is also a member of the Tucson Mayor’s Wellness Task Force.
A dedicated mother of three children, Kim also believes in devoting her time to important initiatives and organizations. She has earned both national and local recognitions for her work with Tu Nidito, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and The YWCA Women on the Move. Kim earned a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Education at the University of Arizona.
